Valor Fights 35 was held at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray, Tennessee with the main card featuring six professional MMA bouts and one professional Muay Thai fight.

The show was headlined by Jonathan Pearce (4-0) taking on Lance Lawrence (1-0) in featherweight action with both young up and coming fighters looking to keep their unbeaten records intact. 

The fight turned out being short and frenetic as Lawrence bomb rushed out the gates and clinched up to Pearce. From there, he tripped him and then finished the fight in double quick time when he took his back and sunk in a rear-naked choke to get the tap. The fight lasted a matter of just twenty-four seconds as Lance 'The Tornado' Lawrence picked up the biggest win of his career to remain unbeaten at 2-0.

In other action on the main card, Dong Usher picked up a decision win over Matthew Baccus in the co-main event while Nick Martino (training partner of Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson) was defeated by Jason King after a stunning knockout with just seconds remaining in the first round of their fight. 

King showcased a great variety of striking and totally overwhelmed Martino who simply couldn't live with him on the feet. The end of the fight came with only three seconds left of the first round when King landed a devastating right hand to the chin of Martino who was unconscious before his back even hit the mat.
