Brave CF 14 Morocco Full Preview: UFC Vets, Undefeated Prospects On Tap
Brave 14: Morocco streams live Saturday, Aug. 18 on FloCombat, featuring Jeremy Kennedy, Ottman Azaitar, Sid Wheeler, Sean Santella, and more.
Brave Combat Federation makes its FloCombat debut in style Saturday, Aug. 18, live from Morocco.
Despite already featuring some of the best martial artists from all over the world, Brave CF has made a point, especially as of late, to sign top free agents. Saturday’s card perfectly represents the work the promotion has put into deepening its roster.
Brave 14: Morocco takes place at the Omnisports Indoor Club of Tangier and streams live on FloCombat at 1 PM ET.

The Next Big Thing?
In the main event, undefeated Moroccan welterweight Ottman Azaitar (10-0) puts his spotless record on the line against surging Serbian finisher Danijel Kokora (16-13).
Over the span of his 10 professional fights, Azaitar has only gone the distance once. With a victory, the 28-year-old Muay Thai specialist could be looking at a UFC contract.
Kokora is one of the more experienced fighters on the Brave CF roster. His record doesn’t necessarily jump off of the page, but the wins and losses don’t tell the whole story. Kicking off his career at 7-12, Kokora has won nine of his last 10 bouts.
That momentum makes him a dangerous foe for Azaitar Saturday night in Morocco.
UFC Vet Returns
In the co-main event, former UFC featherweight Jeremy Kennedy (11-1) will partake in his first bout since departing the promotion earlier this year.
Kennedy boasted a 3-1 record with the UFC, defeating Kyle Bochniak, Alex Ricci, and Rony Jason before suffering his first career loss to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 221 in February. Following the defeat, Kennedy elected to test the waters in Brave CF.
Standing in his way will be top Italian prospect Danyel Pilo (10-1-2). The 30-year-old Pilo has finished nine of his 10 wins inside the distance. A win over Kennedy would be huge, propelling his name into mainstream MMA notoriety.
Prospect City
The headlining and co-headlining combatants won’t be the only two fighters looking to continue their recent success. Top American prospects Sean Santella, Sidney Wheeler, and Keith Lee will also compete on the stacked card.
Known to his fans as “Shorty Rock," New Jersey’s Santella (20-6-1) has won seven out of his last eight bouts. The 33-year-old flyweight is highly regarded as one of the best flyweights in the Northeast. In fact, the Miller Brothers MMA product was previously slated to take on Wilson Reis at UFC 201 in a short-notice bout but was ultimately unable to receive the proper medical clearance he needed to make it to the cage.
Trying to make another push toward the UFC, a win would only solidify Santella’s case. He’ll take on undefeated Velimurad Alkhasov (4-0) at Brave 14: Morocco.
Also on the stacked card, Tennessee’s Wheeler (8-2) will have a tough test Saturday afternoon, as he takes on undefeated Russian destroyer Abdoul Abdouraguimov (7-0). Neither man is a big fan of going to the judges’ scorecards—don’t expect this bout to be any different.
The younger brother of former UFC interim title challenger Kevin Lee, Keith Lee (3-2) will look to rebound from a controversial decision loss back in March. The 21-year-old bantamweight will square off with the Philippines’ Jeremy Pacatiw (6-3).
Other notable names featured on the Brave CF 14 card include Titan FC title challenger Felipe Efrain (12-3), Bellator MMA veteran Djmail Chan (14-4), and top Russian up-and-comer Ikram Aliskerov (5-0).
