Former UFC champion Stipe Miocic is finally back to competing--but not in mixed martial arts.
Saturday night, the all-time winningest champion in UFC heavyweight history will trade in his gloves for a gi when he competes at Fight 2 Win 110.
The event will air live and exclusively on FloCombat and FloGrappling starting at 5pmET.
In front of his hometown crowd in Cleveland, Miocic will compete in a 240-pounds purple belt gi match against Carlson Gracie's Aaron Howard.
Miocic has not competed in mixed martial arts since losing his belt to Daniel Cormier last summer at UFC 226. Since Miocic suffered the knockout loss to Cormier, the UFC has not rebooked him to fight, although Miocic has insisted an immediate rematch should be next.
Earlier this month, UFC President Dana White expressed interest in rebooking Cormier and Miocic, citing former champion Brock Lesnar going rogue on the UFC.
Also competing on Saturday's Fight 2 Win 110, a 175-pound black belt main event between Jaime Canuto and Michael Liera Jr. Bellator MMA veteran Alex Huddleston will also be on the card.
