Kamaru Usman vs Jorge Masvidal Is Officially Happening
Jorge Masvidal is stepping in to face Kamaru Usman on six days notice at UFC 251.
After Gilbert Burns tested positive for COVID-19, it looked like Kamaru Usman's second title defense since defeating Colby Covington in December 2019 wasn't going to happen.
Lucky for us there's a BMF named Jorge Masvidal who was champing at the bit to climb in the cage against the welterweight champion. Masvidal, after passing every test, will take on Usman on just six days notice for his first title shot in the UFC's first card on what has been dubbed "Fight Island" in Abu Dhabi for UFC 251.

At UFC 247, the champ had plenty to say about Masvidal, and will have a chance to back up his comments this weekend.
And as we know, the man who rocks the BMF belt is never short on words and has had plenty to say about Usman as well.
