Saturday afternoon, Brave Combat Federation made its FloCombat debut with Brave CF 14: Morocco—and the standout promotion did so with a bang.
Brave CF 14: Morocco featured some of the best talent from around the world, including UFC veteran Jeremy Kennedy, the undefeated Ottman Azaitar, and much more.
With Satuday’s face-punching affair, Brave became the first major promotion to hold an MMA event in the country of Morocco, adding a special touch to the show.

The evening’s main event was all about the return of Azaitar. The crowd’s deafening roar accompanied Azaitar’s entrance to the cage alongside a handful of pyrotechnics.
The brother of UFC fighter Abu Azaitar, Morocco’s own made quick work of opponent Danijel Kokora. Just 32 seconds into the bout, Azaitar landed a series of heavy strikes on Kokora, leaving referee Marc Goddard with no option but to stop the bout.
In the co-main event, Canadian Jeremy Kennedy—who recently opted to leave the UFC following a 3-1 run to test the waters in Brave CF—picked up a huge victory. The 25-year-old fighter finished Italian up-and-comer Danyel Pilo with vicious elbows in the first round.
In his post-fight interview, Kennedy stated he has his eyes set on Brave CF gold. He’s a prime candidate to get the next title shot against the winner of Elias Boudegzdame and Bubba Jenkins, taking place at Brave CF 16 next month.
Earlier on the card, in a featured flyweight clash, undefeated Russian flyweight Velimurad Alkhasov defeated fan-favorite Sean “Shorty Rock” Santella by unanimous decision. From bell to bell, Alkhasov took it to the New Jersey native, stopping Santella’s UFC bid in its tracks. Alkhasov has now won six straight fights, while as a result of the loss, Santella’s four-fight winning streak was snapped.
Also, on the undercard, Bellator MMA veteran Djmail Chan added another finish to his highlight reel. Just 29 seconds into the fight, Chan floored opponent Alejandro Martinez with a vicious overhand right. Chan’s walk-off punch signified the quickest knockout in the promotion’s history.
