The promotion, which has brought talent such as LFA's Hailey Cowan and UFC prospect Greg Hardy into the spotlight, brought an action-packed event which featured former LFA champion Derrick Krantz taking on Hayward Charles in the main event. 

The event also featured two AKA amateur titles on the line with Roland Landry vs. Dillon Fraley for the featherweight strap and Corris Grant vs. Hunter Jones for the heavyweight belt. 

When Charles and Krantz stepped into the cage, both men took the center and looked to impose their will. After a bit of a stalemate, there was a scramble before the fighters separated again and continued to circle. 

Krantz leapt in with a combination and was able to get Charles’ back against the cage. Krantz began to turn up the pressure and was landing heavy shots as the round progressed.

In Round 2, Charles tried to keep the distance with front kicks, but Krantz continued pushing forward. Charles then switched levels and landed the first takedown of the fight. Krantz returned the favor and landed a double leg of his own before working from the half guard. 

From there, Krantz landed some heavy ground-and-pound, forcing Charles to turtle. Krantz continued to pound away, though, and the referee was forced to call it, giving Krantz the win and moving his current winning streak to three. 

Now 6-1 in his last seven with the only defeat coming via close split decision to current LFA welterweight champ James Nakashima, Krantz looks primed to make the leap back to the big stage for another run at gold.
