559 Fights 58 streams live from Fresno and exclusively on FloCombat.
Andrew Chatman has left a trail of bodies in the wake of his rise through amateur mixed martial arts. On Friday night at 559 Fights 58 in Fresno, the hard-hitting prospect added another body to the pile.
The undefeated striker kept his flawless record intact by destroying Joseph Gaceta in the first round of their showcase tilt. Chatman's personal highlight reel served to provide prior proof of the heat he brings to the cage and Gaceta had little defense to muster. Chatman closed the distance quickly throwing strikes and backed his opposition against the cage. Gaceta attempted to duck his head and a perfectly timed knee from Chatman dropped him to the canvas.
Before Chatman could close in to finish Gaceta attempted to call timeout, and with timeouts unavailable in MMA the referee waved off the bout. Chatman was awarded the seventh victory of his amateur career, and picked up his fourth championship belt for his troubles.
