In the Shamrock FC 316 main event, the Bellator MMA veteran Dowdy used his wrestling to grind out 15-fight veteran Josh Watson. From bell to bell, Dowdy out-muscled his fellow Missourian, earning a unanimous decision from the judges.

The co-main event earned “Fight of the Night” honors in the eyes of many. After absorbing a moderate amount of punishment in the opening minute, Isaac Purnell survived a Court Walle swarm en-route to a walk-off knockout.

A featured lightweight bout saw Shamrock FC staple Evan Elder take out Tremiere Hollie in the first round via armbar submission. Elder now advances to 8-1 overall and 2-0 as a professional.

With only two decisions on the entire card, Shamrock FC 316 saw 13 fights end inside the distance.

Earlier on the main card, up-and-comers Dakota Zimmerman and Justin Lankford picked up their first professional victories with vicious first-round submissions.
