#1 – Brendan Allen (8-3)
Allen once again earned a highlight reel finish, this time a knockout over Larry Crowe June 22 at LFA 43. Despite having three losses, all of Allen’s setbacks are to fighters currently on the UFC roster, and the Roufusport product is the youngest in the top five, being only 22 years old.
#2 – Ian Heinisch (10-1)
With previously No. 1-ranked Anthony Hernandez signing with the UFC, Heinisch was promoted to LFA middleweight champion as he won the interim middleweight title on May 4, knocking out Gabriel Checco at LFA 39. He now faces Justin Sumter July 31 at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series.
#3 – Kevin Holland (13-3)
Holland has now won nine of his last 10 fights, with his lone loss coming against UFC welterweight Curtis Millender at LFA 13 last year. Even better, Holland has finished all of his opponents during that span. The 25-year-old fighter is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Will Santiago at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
#4 – Marc-André Barriault (10-1)
The TKO middleweight champion Marc-André Barriault hasn't lost since 2015, even winning once at light heavyweight during that stretch. After back-to-back split decision victories to end his 2017 campaign, Barriault kicked off 2018 in style, knocking out Brendan Kornberger in Round 2 of his TKO 43 title defense. At 10-1 with his only loss coming via split decision in 2015, there's no doubt Barriault is a top-level prospect at 185.
#5 – Chibwikem Onyenegecha (6-0)
Onyenegecha is the only fighter in the top five with an undefeated record, and he’s finished all of his opponents by knockout. Fight fans will get to see his skills on display July 17 as he takes on Maki Pitolo at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series.
Notes
- No. 1-ranked Anthony Hernandez has been removed from the rankings after signing with UFC.
- Jordan Williams enters the No. 9 spot in the rankings
- Aaron Jeffrey enters the rankings in the No. 19 spot
